Welcome to my newest Blue Ribbon Product review! Do you remember my review about the Baker’s Edge Brownie pan THE BEST BROWNIE PAN EV-AH? Well, the folks at Baker’s Edge have done it again!! They’ve created a BETTER muffin pan! In fact it’s called the Baker’s Edge Better Muffin Pan! I am so thrilled with this pan…(giddy really!!!)…that I just had to share it with you! Especially with the holidays just around the corner and all the treats we love making for family and friends, the timing couldn’t be more perfect!
Ok! So what’s BETTER about this Baker’s Edge Muffin Pan? Well, the structure of this pan is so sturdy and strong, I mean it’s so heavy-duty and durable you could probably drive a truck over it…but why would you want too? LOL! I’m just sayin’, this baby’s gonna last me a lifetime! And because it’s so robustly-built it will never warp…not ev-ah!! My old muffin pans were thin, and would often scorch the bottoms of my cupcakes and muffins. Not so with this pan! My favorite part about it is it’s wonderfully Non-Stick! That means absolutely no oils and sprays needed! It also comes with two easy-to-grip handles for your oven-mitt thumb to hold on to…I don’t know how many times I’ve accidentally stuck my mitts into the batter! Not any more! Yay!!
I decided to try out my recipe for Pumpkin Pie Cupcakes with my new Better muffin pan (I’ll give you the link to the recipe at the end of this post). Mind you, I didn’t use any cooking sprays on the pan or cupcake liners and look how clean and intact the cupcakes came out.
Besides all of the fabulous features, I’m so excited to tell you the Baker’s Edge Better Muffin Pan is made in the U.S.A.!!! Hip! Hip! Hooray!!! God bless America…land that I LOVE!
I love that the space between the cups are much more narrow than standard muffin tins. With my old muffin pan I would always drip globs of batter that would end up burning as the muffins were baking. One tip I finally learned is to use a 1/3 measuring cup to distribute the batter. There’s less spillage and the size of the cupcakes or muffins will be the same size.
Now y’all know that I LOVE everything vintage! I love incorporating practical, old fashioned and simple ways into my home-keeping. I look at this Better Muffin Pan as a sensible new way to bake my old recipes! I don’t like wasting food by having to toss what I’ve just spent time and money baking because it got scorched on the bottom. And we all know that once something we’ve cooked gets burnt, it won’t taste good, no matter how much frosting we pile on top!
Take a looky at how easy it was for me to lift out my Pumpkin Pie Cupcakes! I just used a mini silicone spatula. I didn’t clean the emptied cups for this photo shot, there were only a few crumbs here and there, so the clean up was easy-breezy-lemon-squeezy! In the past with my old muffin pans, I would have to soak them in hot soapy water for about an hour. Most of the time I would use paper liners when I made muffins and cupcakes, but when I didn’t have any on hand, I had to use non-stick cooking spray, which didn’t always work very well. With the Baker’s Edge Better Muffin Pan, their non-stick feature saves time and money.
Another unexpected but fun feature is the way the pan comes packaged and the cute little faces embossed on the bottom of the pan! How cute is that!! This pan would be the perfect gift for someone who loves to bake!
It’s my pleasure to give the folks at Baker’s Edge a BIG OL’ BLUE RIBBON OF EXCELLENCE for their Better Muffin Pan! It truly is better! You can find the Baker’s Edge Better Muffin Pan Here! If you would like my recipe for Pumpkin Pie Cupcakes click here!

I’ll have to see if any of our Canadian stores are carrying these – I am excited at the prospect of non-stick muffins and cupcakes!
What a wonderful baking pan! I appreciate all the features you pointed out. What a cute Christmas gift idea too. How adorable would that be all done up in a cheery Christmas basket with a cute apron and a colorful spatula. This is the kind of gift I would love to receive. Those cupcakes look so yummy and pretty!
I think I need one of those. Thanks for the review Ruthie!!!
