Love your beautiful home. So cozy, warm and inviting. Happy Holidays!!
Thank you Aunt Ruthie, I really needed something to be cheerful about… When it rains, it pours but at least I have my health and my family. <3 Merry Christmas and may this new year bring you blessings in abundance.

Found your blog on Pinterest and just loved it. Just my kind of person. Thanks for sharing and can’t wait to receive some more of your blogs.
I loved the entire video tour, so inviting! Just wonder what’s in the mason jars with the candles? I see a white substance at the bottom of the jar but can’t figure out what it is. I would like to make some for myself!
Thank You, Kate
Hi Ruth Ann,
I am so sorry about your mama-in-love. I know she is better off, but it is always hard for those left behind. Thank you again for this blog–it is so inspirational. :) I had a question for you but posted in the wrong place, before, so excuse the redundancy:
Do you have any experience with or know of the reputations of any of the hospitals in Springfield, Rolla, St. Louis, or Columbia? I am a traveling nurse and may be going there for my next assignment but like to research them before I go. :)
Merry Christmas
Thanks for the wonderful tour! On the search for that coffee pot, brings back memories of my dad. Love the way you set up your coffee station (and your whole house)! Merry Christmas!
You have a beautiful house! I love all your decorations. I visit your site when I’m feeling homey and need some inspiration.

Please don’t stop putting your home decorating pictures on your blog/webpage and not just on you tube. Some of us don’t have high speed internets and lots of times videos won’t play for us!!!
Love your website!!!

Would love some ways to transition from Christmas to Winter or Valentines. When I take down my tree, lights décor, I get sad.How can I bring the lights of Christmas into the dreary Chicago Winter. Thanks and Bless YOU, Jacki
Dear Aunt Ruthie,
Love your blog! So uplifting and encouraging! Thank you!!!!!!
I hope you will check out the West Ladies website, homesteadblessings.com. They have a cookbook, a DVD series and two music CDs of good ole Southern mountain music! They are livin’ in the hills of Tennessee. I believe Vicki Is a widow and they produced those things as a way to support their homesteading way of life and to bless others. Thought maybe you could help advertise for them on your website!
They have blessed our family with their music CDs , DVD series and cookbook, so I thought I would try to spread the word about them.
Blessings,
MaKettle
PS…..Gotta check out their music video Green Beans in the Garden….Love it!
Please bring your blog back to the internet, I can not get on you tube while I’m at work and I love your blog, site during my lunch and breaks.
Love the ol’ rolling pins! I enjoy your instagram post, too!
