It is a bitter cold and blustery day here in the Ozarks…our first real “fall” day…but it is warm and cozy inside!
This is a “family tree” I made with some branches that fell in last winter’s ice storm. I put them in a bucket with Plaster of Paris (I wonder why they call it that?)
anyhoo…after it dried I placed it in this urn. I hung the matted photos of my family along with a few other embellishments. This is what you see when you walk in the front door. I change the look for each season. There are sparkly letters that read “FAMILY NEST”. The kids love to see pictures of themselves, I hope it gives them a warm feeling of belonging.
Here is a funny quote for you, to bless your day…..
“The most remarkable thing about my mother is that for thirty years she served the family nothing but leftovers. The original meal has never been found.”
– Calvin Trillin
Thanks for stopping by for pie, y’all come back now, ya hear?
Hugs!

Excellent post! We are linking to this great article on our
website. Keep up the good writing.
Its such as you read my mind! You seem to know a lot
approximately this, such as you wrote the e book in it or something.
I feel that you just can do with a few percent to power the message
house a little bit, but instead of that, that is wonderful
blog. A great read. I’ll definitely be back.
I simply want to say I am all new to blogging and honestly loved your website. Almost certainly I’m going to bookmark your website . You definitely have impressive articles. Cheers for sharing your blog site.
I want to express my thanks to this writer just for rescuing me from such a situation. After exploring throughout the online world and finding notions that were not beneficial, I was thinking my life was well over. Existing without the presence of approaches to the issues you’ve resolved as a result of your short post is a serious case, as well as the ones which may have badly damaged my entire career if I had not discovered your site. Your actual expertise and kindness in controlling a lot of stuff was very helpful. I don’t know what I would’ve done if I hadn’t come upon such a point like this. I can now relish my future. Thank you so much for your impressive and result oriented guide. I won’t hesitate to suggest the sites to anybody who would like assistance about this problem.
I was just looking for this information for some time. After six hours of continuous Googleing, at last I got it in your site. I wonder what’s the lack of Google strategy that don’t rank this type of informative websites in top of the list. Normally the top sites are full of garbage.
I cling on to listening to the news bulletin talk about receiving boundless online grant applications so I have been looking around for the finest site to get one. Could you advise me please, where could i find some?
Hi, I would love to make a family tree, I have never done anything like this. How long did you leave the sticks in the Paris of plaster? I just found your blog today and I love it! So many ideals, beautiful pictures and heart felt words! Thank you so much! Tami
