Who doesn’t love an ooey-gooey and chewy chocolate chip cookie every now and then? YUM!! My mama-in-law made the best! She cooked and baked by heart, never measuring so I’m still trying to come close to her chocolate chip cookie goodness. Although I’d love to have cookies every day, I’m trying to watch my sugar intake. So when I do treat myself to something sweet I want to make sure it’s worth the calories and sugar! Aunt Ruthie, these are looking pretty yummy!! I just wanted to let you know I just recently baked your sweet neighbor’s banana bread recipe. My honey was mighty happy with me! He also informed me that I better write this one down because it was perfect..(I’m known for making things once because I don’t write anything down, I alternate just about every recipe I do use or I forget what I’ve even made! Ha!) So I am inspired now to start a recipe box. As my kids are now young adults, I want to have something actually written for them. I would have loved some of the recipes my mom made..Thanks for the inspiration and the yummy goodness!

Looks so yummy! My favorite chocolate chip cookie is chewy jumbo chocolate chip cookies by Land O Lakes. I making them today!! They are huge. The recipe is on their website if anyone is interested! You can make them small, but I don’t recommend it. The big ones are so moist and yummy.
