Hi Sugar Pie!
I just wanted to check in with you and to thank you sweet lovelies for praying for my Mama in Love, Mama Ruth a while back. Mama Ruth (my hubby’s mama) went to be with Jesus a couple weeks ago. We’re going to miss her so much. In Her last few moments Linda, my sister in love, was hugging her and my daughter Summer and I were holding her hand and rubbing her arm. We were telling her how much we loved her and we we’re talking about how Jesus was waiting for her with her mama and dad too…and how her mama probably made a jelly cake ( her daddy’s favorite) to celebrate her home-coming and how it’s going to be so wonderful seeing all of them.
One of Mama Ruth’s stories was how her Mama would always ask Ruth’s Dad what he wanted for his birthday and with a big smile he always said “All I want is for all my kids to come home and a Jelly Cake!”. Shortly after rehearsing that sweet story she took one more breath and entered gloryland. We believe Angels were in the room and lovingly escorted her to Jesus.❤️
I had a house full of out-of-town family for the week of her home-going celebration and they all stayed through Thanksgiving. It was a time we all needed to be together. I will cherish her fun stories of life on her Oklahoma farm, her delicious meals and desserts she made, her funny personality, her laughter and most of all the love she poured into her family in everything she did. What a blessing she was! We will miss her so much! Thank you again for your prayers!
God Bless your darlin’ heart!
Aunt Ruthie

How precious that you were all able to be with her at her homecoming. I’ll be sending up prayers for your family! Thank you for sharing so many lovely stories of her over the years. We just made the snow ice cream recipe from your blog tonight that she shared with you!
What a comfort knowing she loved Jesus, and you’ll be together again. God is so good to us, isn’t He?

Thoughts of love and prayers!
Oh my goodness, I am so sorry for your loss. She sounds like an amazing woman. May God’s comfort and peace surround you and your family.
Blessings and Hugs,
Debbie
Isn’t the hope of heaven a blessing? While losing someone you love is an ache that never really goes away, the Holy Spirit comforts us when we know our loved one is in heaven. Prayers for your family.
I’m so sorry for your loss. But I’m thankful you were blessed to be by her side. I lost my mother-in-love (that’s what I called her) in 2007 and was at her side talking to her when she went home too. I also felt the presence of Angels taking her home. I have always considered it a privilege. May the good Lord continue to bless and comfort you and your family with hope, peace and wonderful memories.
What a wonderful story -I know you have sadness in your heart- But what a grand way to go to your final home in heaven. Many Hugs and prayers-Your Blog and your wonderful stories touch my heart!
God’s Blessings
So sorry for your loss. May God bless you and your family.
Sending my prayers and condolences to you and your family. It is never easy to say goodbye to our loved ones but the promise of heaven with no pain or tears is what we cling too. Thank you for sharing your family with us over the years. Your love of home and family is contagious. Thank you for your inspiration. Peace.
I am so sorry for your loss! My Mama went home to be with Jesus in October. I have perfect peace about where she is at, but there is such a feeling of loss and loneliness and longing. This will be the first Christmas in 67 years that she will not be with us. But with the Lord’s help and grace, we will celebrate His birth with our family and just remember the memories and special times that we have been blessed with. I have no doubt that Mama (her name is Ruth too) and your Mama Ruth will be having their best Christmas ever!!! Prayers for your family.
So sorry for your loss. May God wrap you and your family in his love during this difficult time.
Prayers and Blessings;
Jean
Ruthann, your family will remain in my prayers as you navigate through these early months without your dear Mama Ruth.
I’m so sorry for your loss.
Aunt Ruthie so sorry for your loss. I would like to send you this for your family. Wrote it when I had a death in our family and give it to those who have loss a family member or someone close to them. MAY THE TEARS HEAL
We weep as sorrow flows
Deep inside our heart
An instant replay
A constant thought
An imbedded memory
Of someone dear we have lost.
The pain is planted
Like a weed growing spreading
Throughout your mortal being
Creating confusion, intruding
Never seeking permission.
But yet when we are chosen
We release all emotions,
In this sadness that calls
Upon each and every one of us
Taking its turn as we stand
In this line called life
Praying we survive
The sorrow of loss
Hoping the tears may heal
Yet we know within our heart
Neither time nor person
Can replace or steal
A forever presence
Their smiling face
The wisdom of their words
That sustains us
Until we meet again.

Aunt Ruthie sending prayers for your family. Angels are
Such a bittersweet time for you all as you glory in her homecoming with Jesus and with family who’ve gone before, and as you weep over no longer having her here on Earth. What a homecoming you’ll have one day when she’ll be there to greet those of you who know the Lord. Sending you hugs from Maryland and prayers for comfort.
Dear Ruthie and Family,
Thank you for sharing your sweet mama-in-love with all of us. She was a wonderful example for all of us mothers-in-love. May God’s peace and comfort be with your family. Lots of love coming your way this Christmas season.

Oh Dear Sweet Blogger Friend,
I had been wondering how things were going for you and the family since you last spoke about your momma in love and her failing health.. I even remember the LoRd laying on my heart as I am sure many hearts He laid his precense upon to think about you and the family, with out you even saying a word.
What sweet memories you have to share and what a awesome and loving relationship you got to have with your Mom in Love…and all because “two People Fell in L♥ve”. Not to many people these days can say they have a loving relationship with the inlaws.. I am quite sure her loss will be felt for many days/years.
Prayers to you and the family as you go through your first Christmas Season with out her beautiful presence.
